After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
Identify current barriers to the successful management of migraine, including suboptimal recognition and healthcare disparities, and appropriately diagnose/manage patients with migraine in the primary care setting
Assess the safety/efficacy and mechanisms of action of newer treatment options for the prevention and acute treatment of migraine
Incorporate newer treatment options into primary care based on guideline recommendations, recent data, and patient preferences for the improved management of migraine
